We Won Refurbishment Project of the Year for the Isles of Scilly Hospital project

We’re delighted to share that Community 1st Cornwall and Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust have won Refurbishment Project of the Year for the Isles of Scilly Hospital project at the Healthcare Estates Awards! 

This prestigious award recognises the huge impact this ‘Project of Lifetime’ will make for the Isles of Scilly Island communities and their access to health and social care services.  We are incredibly proud to have been part of this journey. 

Collaboration has been at the heart of this small but logistically complex project.  

Close partnership working between Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Community 1st Cornwall (the local LIFTco), a long-term relationship based on trust, and a collaborative approach to risk management has been critical to the project’s success.  

A project that was viewed as impossible to bring to life, the successful delivery of this integrated health and social care project is a testament to what can be accomplished when partners work together with a common goal. 

This award is a fantastic accomplishment and puts a spotlight on the well-deserved recognition for everyone involved. 

We must also recognise our partners who helped to design and deliver this project.
