Community 1st provide on-going 24/7 estate and facilities management services to maintain these premises to a high standard.
Community Health Partnerships are the head tenant for local NHS services. Kernow Clinical Commissioning Group is responsible for the range of services available from these primary care centres.
Community 1st can provide a range of alternative funding and contract structures options which do not need to include Community Health Partnerships or NHS Property Services

Strategic Estate Planning
Our local Community 1st team continue to support our local NHS partners strategic estate planning. Examples include:
- 6 facet surveys of all GP surgeries in Cornwall
- 6 facet surveys of the Cornwall Partnerships Foundation Trust estate in West Cornwall and the drafting of a hub and spoke estates model
- Estates review of the entire Cornwall health estate as part of an Strategic Transformation Plan estates review (included care homes, pharmacy as well as NHS estate)
- Outline Business Case for the creation of a new GP surgery in Bodmin which was funded by ETTF.
- Outline Business Case for a combined Health and Social Care unit to replace existing building on the Isles of Scilly
- Survey and condition report on unoccupied Treatment Centre to support funding for works to re-occupy
- Backlog maintenance planning and budgeting for both Primary Care Trust (until 2013) and NHS Property Services
