Healthcare Building Forum 2026

Ken Jones, General Manager, Community 1st Cornwall and Kate Edwards, Health Development Director for Community 1st attended the Healthcare Buildings Forum Conference this week. They delivered a presentation about the unique challenges of ‘integrating health and social care in a remote community’ for the Isles of Scilly Hospital project.  

Applauded by attendees for delivering ‘truly remarkable and inspiring project’, it was good to share honest insights into delivering a project of this scale on a remote island. 

The conference brings together healthcare estates and facilities professionals to explore the latest developments, innovations and best practice across the sector, covering a range of key topics, including the New Hospital Programme, NHS Net Zero Carbon targets, and the continued digitalization of healthcare estates and facilities.
